Our Dog Show consists of agility, obedience, showmanship, and rally events.
Cloverbud Exhibitors ages 5-7 as of 9/1 of the current year may register to compete in exhibition only classes with rally and showmanship. Green ribbons will be awarded and youth will be provided feedback, but will not be scored or ranked.
Exhibitors are REQUIRED to attend 3 dog practices at SRF with each dog that they are showing, with 1 being before the entry deadline in December to determine their competition level and guarantee the safety of this event. Several workshops will be offered throughout the year.
A signed veterinarian slip with the dog’s vaccination record covering the expiration date must be attached to the entry form with rabies and DHPP.
A female dog in season will not be permitted to show or be present during the show even if they have been registered for the event; they also cannot attend practice while in season. If you are showing an unaltered female, please plan to attend at least 1 practice with 1 backup dog to ensure you have another dog to show at the SRF.

Dog showmanship is a set of skills and etiquette used by handlers of dogs in a dog competition. Dog showmanship is not a competition in itself but a qualification of the handler to present a dog to its best advantage. Skills are technical as well as artistic. Source: wikipedia.org
