Junior Fair Board Program

The Suwannee River Junior Fair Board will serve the purpose of assisting the Fair Board in efficiently running the fair while providing insight on changes and developments that can be made to the benefit of fair participants.

The Junior Fair Board provides recently graduated individuals an opportunity to give back to the community. Members will work diligently to develop new educational programs and improve upon current activities at the Suwannee River Fair. Those selected for leadership roles on the board will serve as delegates in matters voted upon by the Current Fair Board.

Eligibility Rules:

1. Must be between 18-25 years old.
2. Must live within an hour from Suwannee River Fairgrounds and permanent address must be in either Levy, Gilchrist, or Dixie County.
3. FFA advisors and 4-H Agents are not allowed to serve as voting members of the Junior Fair Board.
4. Members must attend all Junior Fair Board meetings and Chair/Co-Chair elects must also attend all Executive Fair Board meetings.
5. Must be a dues paying member of the Suwannee River Fair Association ($5 due at the September meeting).
