The following was read at the beginning of the swine show: This year and in years past, we have been subject to repeated acts of vandalism and destructive behavior around the fairgrounds and in particular in the restrooms. We would like to ask parents to be vigilant as to your children's whereabouts and activities. If you are passing a restroom and hear a commotion, we ask that you investigate the situation. Children and young people, please listen to this warning.
If you are caught vandalizing or destroying property on these fairgrounds, you and your animal will be removed from the fair immediately - no show, no sale. Depending on the severity of the damage, charges could be filed. We are fortunate to have a beautiful facility here. Each of us should take pride in keeping it clean and in good condition.
