Rabbit Show

Rabbits cannot be defined as solely livestock or companion animal as they are unique and multi-purpose with any single breeder utilizing their herd for more than one purpose.

Purpose or uses for rabbits include meat, fur production, wool production, laboratory use, pets, & show. "The value of the rabbit industry in the US is estimated at $831 million a year. This includes a $20 million value for rabbits raised for meat, but does not include rabbits which are pets or show rabbits."

Poultry Show

The poultry project teaches participants proper methods of selecting, feeding, and raising a project animal for the purpose of showing, marketing, and or consuming the eggs. Record keeping is an important part of the Poultry Project and the poultry industry in Florida. Records are kept on the type and amount of feed fed, vaccinations, and other flock health practices.
